ASHEVILLE, NC, MAY 2018 – The Wine and Oyster is proud to announce an upcoming fundraiser to benefit the Asheville Jewish Community Center. The event will be held June 5, from 4 – 10 pm at The Wine & Oyster in Biltmore Village, located in the same shopping center as Ichiban, at 2 Hendersonville Road.

“Be sure to mention the JCC when you order,” says The Wine & Oyster owner Steve Klein. “Then we’ll donate 15 percent of your bill to them. JCC is dedicated to tolerance and inclusion of all people, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual identity, or nationality. It compliments our values here at The Wine & Oyster.“

The Wine and Oyster has an impressive selection of wines and the freshest oysters in town. “Our oysters are flown in fresh daily,” Steve says. “Our wine selection features wines that are rated 90+ by Wine Enthusiast and other magazines.”

Live music Thursday through Saturday features some of Asheville’s best-known artists, such as Jesse Barry, Jason DeCristofaro, Robert Thomas, Peggy Ratusz, Linda Mitchell, Kylie B & the Birds, Jazzville, and more.

With plenty of outside seating, The Wine & Oyster is dog-friendly, with water provided for canine guests. Inside or outside, the atmosphere is cordial and friendly, “We’re like an upscale Cheers,” Steve says. “We have a full bar featuring custom cocktails. We’ve been told we have the best Bloody Mary in town, and don’t miss our Coffee Martini. Throw in some whipped cream, and it’s to die for.”
